Cards 500 & Canasta

Carpet Bowls

“ It’s a low-impact sport that’s easy on the joints but still provides a great workout.  Plus it’s a fantastic way to improve your coordination and precision.”

Carpet bowls are held every Monday and Thursday afternoon 1.00 pm – 3.30 pm,  also every Saturday afternoon from 1.00 pm to 4.00 pm, three mats are available.

Table Tennis

“Get your heart pumping with our friendly table tennis games every Thursday afternoon from 1.00 pm to 3.30 pm.  Table tennis is a great way to improve hand-eye coordination and reflexes, and it’s also a fun way to get some aerobic exercise.  And don’t worry, we’ll keep you refreshed with free coffee, tea, and biscuits!”

Aerobics for 50's and over

“Join our Aerobics classes designed specifically for older adults.  Regular aerobic exercise can help lower blood pressure, improve heart health, boost your mood, and keep your body strong and fit.  We offer both regular and gentle aerobics to suit different fitness levels.”

Thursdays at 10 am Aerobics, and 10.45 am Gentle Aerobics are designed for those less active.

Craft Activities

“Unleash your creativity with our craft activities.  Crafting is not just a fun way to pass the time – it can also help improve fine motor skills, promote relaxation, and provide a sense of accomplishment when you create something beautiful with your own hands.”

Craft activities are held on the  1st and 3rd Wednesday mornings from 10 am to 12 noon. Plus every Thursday afternoon from 12 noon to 3.30 pm.

Trips and events

Throughout the year, we organize frequent bus excursions to local points of interest, as well as an annual five-day holiday by bus.  Additionally, we host Christmas in July morning melody events at nearby RSL clubs and arrange bus outings for Christmas lunch at different hotels in our vicinity.  As the year comes to a close, we gather for a delightful barbeque in the park next to our hall before concluding for the Christmas break.
