Coach Trip to Cape Schanck Lighthouse & Museum
Tuesday 18th August 2015
Departing Watsonia at 9.00 am, we travel to Ballam Park Frankston, for a morning tea stop. Then to Cape Schanck for a guided tour into the fully operational lighthouse, with an information video of the “oldest and highest lighthouse in the world”. The historic light is one of the few still operating as it did during the mid 1800’s. For those who cannot climb the lighthouse steps into the lamp room they have photos for you to view in the museum.
After a delicious 2 course lunch at the Kings Creek Hotel, then board the coach for your journey home. Arrive back approx. 4:00 pm
